5. Hospital of the Innocents

One of the first stops for children is the Hospital of the Innocents. Built in the fifteenth century, based on a project by Filippo Brunelleschi, it is one of the first orphanages in Europe. The route offers children a journey into the lives of their peers with audio guides that are able to involve both adults and children.
Inside the Museo degli Innocenti, there is also the renowned Bottega dei Ragazzi: a large equipped space dedicated to children aged three to eleven with educational and creative workshops.

The residence of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany and seat of the King of Italy hides one of the most beautiful parks in Florence: the Boboli Gardens. It's a wonderful park that surrounds Palazzo Pitti and which covers an area of ​​about 45 thousand square meters and which needs about 3 hours of walking to be seen in its entirety.
