Milano Summer Festival 2022
Between June and July, Milan also plays its part in terms of music and entertainment. After two years of absence caused again by the pandemic, the Milano Summer Festival has been rescheduled this year and, for the variety of artists involved, cannot really disappoint! Twelve evenings starting at the beginning of June. Here is the list of the most important evenings:

Mantova Live Estate
Mantua, a city famous for being a wonderful city of art and a UNESCO World Heritage Site , joins the list of cities willing to promote music in this summer's return to big concerts.
Mantova Arte & Musica thus becomes Mantova Live Estate, and aims to bring many interesting performers here to Italy. Piazza Sordello is therefore preparing to welcome the likes of Iggy Pop, Caparezza and Placebo, along with emerging talents such as the Italian Mahmood.
Taking advantage of these incredible musical evenings, you can organize a nice sightseeing tour through the streets of Mantua, a city that still retains intact the imprint of the Gonzaga family, which made it one of the most shining testimonies of the Italian Renaissance.
Rock in Roma 2022
Rock in Roma is now a historic festival in the Eternal City, born back in 2009. Rock in Roma brings together several prestigious stages: Ippodromo delle Capannelle, Circo Massimo, Auditorium Parco della Musica (Sala Santa Cecilia and Cavea).
This super festival, which before the pandemic was a fixture of Roman summers, returns in the coming months in all its glory with a series of concerts that will keep us company from June to September.
As the name suggests, rock is the real star of the event, although there will be no shortage of forays into other genres, with artists from the pop, indie, techno and rap scene. Here are a few names: Deep Purple, Skunk Anansie, Maneskin, Litfiba, Paul Weller, Caparezza.
Eolie Music Fest 2022
What could be better in the summer heat than a concert series physically on the water? We're talking about Eolie Music Fest 2022, which can boast a 27-meter gulet on the sea as its stage! The festival will start on June 30 and continue until July 5, 2022, with the idea behind it being to focus more on quality than quantity, with a few concerts following the trend of sustainability and slower rhythms.
So there is room for introspection and indie music by famous and beloved artists such as Daniele Silvestri and Mannarino. As a distinguishing feature, this festival also serves to take stock of initiatives to support the Aeolian Islands, with Eco Islands - Music for Mediterraneum day.
Locus Festival 2022
Let's take a little foray into indie/alternative, soul and funk music with the return of the much-loved Locus Festival, celebrating this year's edition number eighteen.
Apulia, with its thousands and thousands of different landscapes, once again gives emotions difficult to describe in words. On the bill are many Italian and non-Italian musicians, capable of satisfying the taste of an audience of listeners as varied as ever: just to name a few, there will be artists such as the aforementioned Caparezza and Paolo Nutini, along with Kings of Convenience and Willie Peyote.
Lucca Summer Festival 2022
Lucca Summer Festival was born in 1998 and, before the pandemic, had never suffered a stop, confirming itself year after year as one of the most anticipated events for concertgoers in Italy. The festival takes place in Lucca's central Piazza Napoleone, right in the wonderful historic center of the medieval town.
A magical location, which accentuates the charm of the concerts, giving spectators an experience hard to forget. This year, in addition to catching up with Liam Gallagher's super concert (with special guests the melancholy Kasabian), Italians Paolo Conte and Zucchero will take the stage, along with Robert Plant - Alison Krauss and Blanco. In short, summer is upon us: it's time to celebrate!
