Description
Twiddle your beards, both real and fake as you peruse one of the most important museums for 20th-century art. The Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice boasts works by Picasso, de Chirico, Dalí, Pollock, Kandinsky and Magritte, amongst others.
Getting There:
- From Piazzale Roma or Ferrovia: Vaporetto 1 or 2, direction Lido, get off at Accademia
- From Piazza San Marco: Vaporetto 1 or 2, direction P. Roma, get off at Accademia
- Free entrance for kids under 10, and disabled visitors + 1 accompanying visitor
- Audioguide is available at the entrance for €7 in Italian, English, German, French, and Spanish)
- A cloakroom is available. Baby carriers will be checked
- No pets allowed, except guide dogs
- You can enter anytime between 10:00 and 12:00 or 14:00 and 16:00
