Te Palace, also called Palazzo del Te, is anything but humble and inconspicuous in style. Built for the Duke of Mantua back in 1535, the lavish palace was an all-frills escape from the stress of his royal responsibilities. Its numerous halls and chambers are decorated with original frescoes by the premier artists of its time, including the spectacular Chamber of Giants.
